Open Cyprus in Europe

Bridges towards Europe through social media conversations

Instaframe diplomacy in the hallways of Brussels

Eu Foreign relations diplomats unveil their most human yet artificial side in the hallways of Europe in light of newcomers on the diplomatic scene.

Neither do I know the face of the Serbian President, but I am neither official nor Lady Ashton of EU external relations or had an appointment with Tomislav Nikolić.

Myria’s Words  from Brussels recommends lessons that can be learned before hallway photo opportunity:

  • Speak and re-speak with caution because even the walls have ears!
  • Do intensive courses “who’s who!”
  • Decide some quotes to say when find ourselves in such a bad position.

We may want to add that interacting with the camera or on sight journalists could also be added trick to use.

If it interested anyone – the photo opportunity was for mr. President to express that the Serbian PM should head Belgrade’s delegation in the next rounds of talks with Priština. He aslo got to explain that “He will seek full understanding of the social and political context in Serbia and awareness only though a continual dialogue and joint work on solving all issues so as to arrive at a solution that will be efficient and fast track for Serbia’s access into the EU,”.  More on B92
